Henry Gray, who suffered a heart attack in January, is under doctors orders to not travel by air. We at the Edmonton Blues Festival wish him well, but Henry will not be able to perform for us this summer as part of the “3 Generations of the Blues” Revue slated to close Friday evening at the festival. Taking his place in the Revue will be dynamic and entertaining vocalist Oscar Wilson, of the Cash Box Kings. With a new recording about to be released on Alligator Records, we are thrilled that Oscar will be joining us. The Cash Box Kings, out of Chicago, were a big hit at the 2014 festival and you can learn more about Oscar on our “2017 Line Up” part of the festival website. He will be a truly great replacement, totally in the spirit of the theme of the Revue, “3 Generations of the Blues” ! More at www.BluesInternationalLtd.com
