How it all Goes Down Edmonton’s Labatt Blues Festival brings you 3 days of “Blues and Nothin’ but the Blues” but if you’ve never been to the show you might wonder how it all works once you get there. Hawrelak Park has limited parking available on a “First come, first served” basis, so we suggest using the Park ’n’ Ride service from the Stadium Parkade at the University of Alberta. We do provide supervised motorcycle parking and you can lock up your bicycle in a rack if you pedal to the show. The Heritage Amphitheatre boasts nearly 1200 fixed “theatre type” seats under a huge tent that also houses the stage. If you prefer, you can relax on the manicured lawn. From our Labatt Beer Garden (capacity 1450) you can see and hear all the action on stage and if dancing is your thing, we’ve got room for 500 on the dance floor. There will be an ATM on site. The
Amphitheatre also boasts hard bathrooms with sinks and “Port-a-Potties” are located in the Beer Garden. You’ll find a variety of food and drink to help you keep diggin’ the blues all weekend long. Don’t forget to visit our “Blues Store” featuring a wide selection of unique “Blues” wear, accessories and, of course, music from the performers playing the festival. Those performers will be manning an “Autograph Table”, located near the stage after their performance so you can get those discs signed. We do ask that no video or audio recordings are made of the show; that you don’t bring coolers or tarps with you and that you leave those high back camp chairs at home so everyone can see the show. Bring a low back, “festival chair”, with you or buy one at the “Blues Store”. Be a friend to the park and use the provided trashcans.
Please Note: the Festival is a cash only event, there is an ATM on-site for your convenience. [Contact Us] [Blues Links] [Past Festivals] [Sponsors] [Home]
