Online and in person ticket sales for the 18th annual Edmonton Blues Festival are now closed. We will have a limited number of tickets available at the gate each day of the festival. Ticket prices day of show are as follows: $60 for Friday, $65 for Saturday or Sunday. The Tickets/Will Call tent located near the entrance to Heritage Amphitheatre in Hawrelak Park will be open beginning at 2PM Friday August 19, 2.5 hours before the gates open that day. The tent will be open at noon on Saturday and Sunday August 20 and 21. It’s going to be a great weekend of blues, sun, dancing and fun so come join us for #18!!

Don’t want to wait in line to swap your email receipt for tickets you purchased through the festival website? You don’t have to! Bring your email receipt and ID to the Touch of Class gaming room, downstairs at The Chateau Louis Hotel 11727 Kingsway, between 1 and 5 PM Sunday August 14 and swap for either your festival wristband or bundle of 3 tickets (if you purchased a 3 day Transferable Weekend Pass) . Shemekia Copeland, part of a stellar Friday night lineup at The 18th Annual Edmonton Blues Festival won 3 Living Blues Magazine Awards yesterday. The Blues Bible awarded her both the readers and critics “Female Blues Artist of the Year” award and her recording “Outskirts of Love” was named “Album of the Year”. She’ll be joined by Jack DeKeyzer, Morgan Davis, Paul Barrere and Fred Tackett of Little Feat fame and New Orleans heavyweights The New Orleans Suspects on what is promising to be an incredible opening night of this year’s festival !
