Ticket Breakdown and Prices

In 2024 we will have a couple of new seating options:

A Reserved VIP Seating section will be located just back of the dance floor and extending 7 rows. There will be room for just 500 lucky VIP patrons! These seats are not numbered but will be available to any holder of a VIP Weekend Pass each day. There’s plenty of room and all the seats have great sightlines and are just behind the dance floor!

Blues Cabanas – will be located behind the VIP Seating. They will consist of a 10 X 10 tent with 12 weekend passes and seating, table service and more. There are only 12 of these and they will go fast. People loved the Luxury Suite option at the 2023 festival and this is the 2024 version of that. Contact [email protected] for more information.

The Blues Ambassadors

The 250 volunteers who make this blues party hum are among the best in the world, some of them have been with us from day 1 and so have many of the faithful Blues Hounds, the great blues fans that have been on the hill or in the seats from the beginning.

More About the Festival

As we head into the 25th edition of the Edmonton Blues Festival we continue to embrace the old, the new, legends, up and comers, the best guitarists, piano players, harp players, singers and all-around entertainers in the blues world. Most of all, we bring the best damn blues party that Edmonton has ever seen!

Along the way, we’ve been recognized by the Blues Foundation, based in Memphis, and are proud recipients of the “Keeping the Blues Alive” award (2008, first Canadian festival to be so honoured) Festival Producer Cam Hayden has been inducted into the Edmonton Blues Hall of Fame, The Calgary Blues Hall of Fame and has been honoured nationally as the “Blues Booster of the Year” (2016 Maple Blues Awards)

In 2018 the festival received a special proclamation from the city of Nashville recognizing it as premier blues event…Why? We love the blues, and we love embracing the worldwide blues community and inviting them to our party. As always, we’ll have visitors from across the United States and Canada and other parts of the world joining us; folks who know a great party when they see one and want to be part of it. To encourage a younger audience to discover the blues we are admitting kids (Blues Pups) 12 and under free with an accompanying adult and offering half price single day admissions to youth (13-17).

Our new home is located at Klondike Park, in a newly created area that features lawn, great sight lines, shade from mature and newly planted trees. We’ll have a dance floor in front of the stage, VIP seating just back of that dance floor along with our own “Blues Cabanas”, new for 2024.

Getting To Klondike Park

Located just west of Wayne Gretzky Drive at 114 Ave, the site is serviced by both ETS buses and the LRT (Coliseum Station is closest). Explore Edmonton will be operating the ample parking lots if you decide to drive and there will be motorcycle parking and bicycle parking.

Bag Policy

To ensure a safe environment for the public, eliminate unnecessary contact at entry gates, and to accelerate blues fan entry The Edmonton Blues Festival will be using a Clear Bag policy that limits the size and types of bags that may be brought in. Exceptions to this policy will be made for all medically necessary items after proper inspection. Keep in mind that there is no seating on the field and that any items that may impair the sight lines of other fans or cause accidental injury are not allowed.

  • Blues fans may also carry a backpack or small clutch or purse. All bags are subject to inspection

  • Exceptions will be made for any medically necessary items or diaper bags that won’t fit into the clear bag

  • Snack items, sandwiches, fruit and veggies for personal consumption (in your clear bag please)
